2-Day Course
Learn the codes, regulations and standards that may affect your facility. In this course you will be exposed to the broad range of codes, regulations, and standards that can potentially apply to the oil & gas industry. Application of the codes and standards and their interrelationships will be explained. Key points of the codes will be highlighted to provide a working knowledge of the appropriate contacts and sources for answers concerning detailed application. You will review the relationship between codes and standards and the requirements of OSHA's process safety management (PSM) regulation (29 CFR 1910.119), best maintenance practices, world-class reliability-centered maintenance, and total quality management. This course will teach you basic approaches to code compliance. After taking the course, you will be better able to implement a maintenance program that is both cost-effective and in compliance.
